Website refresh

A website that gets found, stays secure and sounds like your buyers.

Revvd Up rebuilds B2B marketing sites to be secure by design, easy for Google and AI tools to read, and written in your customers' words. We start with what the site has to do for the business, then build it, then keep it growing with monthly content and security scans.

Before they ever talk to you

Your buyers decide on your website first.

Many leaders underestimate how much research a buyer does alone. By the time someone books a call, they have often read your site, compared you to others and formed an opinion. That makes the first question not "what should it look like" but "what is the site for."

Gartner figures: a survey of 632 B2B buyers (August to September 2024), published June 25, 2025. Challenger Inc. does not state the study or year behind its 57% figure.

So we settle the goal first. Is this a credibility site for people who already know you? A place that educates buyers and moves them along your marketing and sales funnel? Or a lead generation engine? Each one is built differently.

Why now

WordPress is a moving target, and attackers move faster than patches.

WordPress itself is not the main problem. The plugin stack around it is, and every plugin is code someone has to patch faster than an attacker finds the flaw.

  • 11,334new WordPress vulnerabilities in 2025, up 42% from 2024
  • 91%of them were in plugins. Only 6 were in WordPress core
  • 5 hoursweighted median time to first exploit, for the most heavily exploited vulnerabilities
  • 26%of attacks were blocked by hosting-level defenses in Patchstack's 2025 pentest

This is why Revvd Up left WordPress itself. After the site was compromised again, we rebuilt it as plain HTML with nothing to log into. Read what happened.

What you get

Three things a website refresh should deliver.

Security

Remove what attackers go after.

  • No plugins, PHP, admin login or content database to break into
  • Plain files served from the edge, with HTTPS and security headers set up at launch
  • Recurring AI-assisted security scans, plus hosting and tool maintenance in the monthly plan

Visibility

Be the answer, in Google and in AI.

  • Answer-first copy, question-led headings and structured data on every page
  • Every word in the HTML that AI tools read, with nothing hidden behind scripts
  • SEO and AEO optimized blog posts every month, built from your buyers' real questions

Relevance

Sound like the people you sell to.

  • Copy built on voice-of-customer research, in the words your buyers use
  • Pages organized around what buyers need to decide, not your org chart
  • A site that says what your sellers say, so buyers don't see a gap

How it works

It starts like every Revvd Up engagement: with your business.

Discovery comes before design, because a site built before the goal is clear is a site built twice.

  1. 01

    What is the site for?

A credibility page, a place that educates buyers and moves them through your funnel, or a lead engine. The goal decides what gets built.

  2. 02

    Your business and buyer

How you make money, who buys, why they buy and where deals stall. The same discovery work that starts every Revvd Up engagement.

  3. 03

    Voice-of-customer research

Your customers' words, from interviews, calls, reviews and emails, become the baseline for how the business is presented.

  4. 04

    Brand intake

Logo, colors, fonts and any guidelines you have. We keep what works and tighten what doesn't.

  5. 05

    Rebuild and migrate

Content exported from your current site, rebuilt as fast plain HTML, with redirects for every old address.

  6. 06

    Launch, then keep it growing

Monthly SEO and AEO blog posts, recurring security scans, hosting and tool maintenance.

Pricing

One refresh, then a monthly plan.

Prices start here and depend on the size of the site and how much you want published and scanned. Final scope and price are set on a free discovery call.

The refresh

From $5,000 one-time

Best for: Marketing sites of up to about 10 pages plus a blog, with content that can be exported. WordPress is the most common starting point.

  • A working session on what the website is for, and the goal it has to hit
  • Business model and ideal customer profile (ICP) review
  • Voice-of-customer research, so the copy uses your buyers' words
  • Intake of your brand guidelines, logo, colors and fonts
  • Rebuild as a fast, plain-HTML site with no plugins, no database and no admin login
  • Content export and migration, with a permanent redirect for every old URL
  • SEO and AEO built in: answer-first copy, question-led headings, structured data and a sitemap

A good fit

  • B2B companies with a complex sale: SaaS, professional services, energy and investment, data centers, events
  • A marketing site of up to about 10 pages plus a blog
  • WordPress or another platform whose content can be exported
  • Leaders who want the site to educate buyers and generate leads, not just exist

Not a fit

  • E-commerce stores
  • Complex web apps and logins. Those should live separately, on a subdomain, and stay out of the marketing site
  • Sites that need dozens of custom templates or a heavy integration stack

Proof

We did it to our own site first.

On October 27, 2026, revvdup.xyz moved from a compromised WordPress site to a static one, with every old post kept at its address.

  • 44static pages live at launch
  • 24blog posts migrated, each still at its original URL
  • 0plugins, PHP files, admin logins or content databases to patch or break into

FAQ

Questions about a website refresh

What is a website refresh?

A website refresh rebuilds your marketing site around a business goal: security, visibility in Google and AI search, and copy that speaks in your customers' words. It starts with discovery, not a template, and it is followed by monthly content and security maintenance.

What does the website have to do for my business?

That is the first question we answer together. A site can be a credibility page, a place that educates buyers and moves them toward a sales conversation, or a lead engine. Many founders assume it is the second or third without having built it that way, so the goal is set on day one.

Why do buyers research before they talk to sales?

Challenger Inc. says buyers are on average 57% of the way through the buying process before they approach a seller, and Gartner's 2025 survey found 61% of B2B buyers prefer a rep-free buying experience. Your website is where much of that research happens, so it works as your first salesperson.

Is a static website more secure than WordPress?

It removes most of the attack surface. A static site has no plugins, no PHP, no admin login and no content database, and Patchstack found 91% of the 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities in 2025 were in plugins. It is not invincible: what remains is small, such as your hosting and code accounts and any form handler, and that is what the recurring scans watch.

Will I lose my Google rankings when I move off WordPress?

The move is designed to protect them. Every old URL gets a permanent redirect, which is how all 24 blog posts on revvdup.xyz kept their original addresses. No one can guarantee rankings, but a clean migration avoids the dead links and lost history that hurt them.

What sites is this a fit for?

Marketing sites of up to about 10 pages plus a blog, with content that can be exported. WordPress is the most common starting point. E-commerce and complex web apps are not a fit, and an app should live separately on a subdomain.

What does it cost?

The refresh starts at $5,000 one-time, and the monthly plan for blog writing, recurring security scans, hosting and tool maintenance starts at $500 a month. The monthly price depends on how many posts and scans you need each month. Final scope and price are set on a free discovery call.

What is voice-of-customer research?

It is the practice of collecting your customers' own words, from interviews, sales calls, reviews and emails, and using them to decide what your site says. It keeps the copy on what buyers care about and prevents a site that sounds nothing like your sales team.

Start with the question that matters: what should your website do?

Bring your current site. You'll leave the call knowing what it should be doing for the business, and what it would take to get there.
